I developed an obsession with everything green in 2002. I have depression and anxiety and found that a lot of the time I could not even see without blurred vision. There were few things that could bring me back to reality or even evoke my sense of smell. However, nature and sitting my rivers or in the green fields of the countryside where I grew became one of those things. Getting absorbed in my surroundings, taking a minute to breathe always helps with my mental health.
